On Monday, September 11 & Tuesday, September 12, we'll be supporting a truly one-of-a-kind meal packing event on The Intrepid to commemorate our nation's annual 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance.

More than 700 New York Cares volunteers will serve in various event staffing positions, providing behind the scenes support to meal packing volunteers over the two-day event.

Volunteer roles

Table Captains

Orient volunteers as they arrive at the event, and oversee a set of packing tables staffed by 13 volunteers.

Event Support

Keep the day organized and efficient by checking in and directing volunteers, passing out PPE, and more!

Logistics Support

Resupply meal packing tables and loading boxes of meals onto pallets.
